In August 1984, the Everett Railroad GE #4 made a delivery of bauxite ore to the General Refractories Company in Claysburg, Pennsylvania. That train marked the rebirth of a railroad that was originally chartered in 1852 as the Huntingdon and Broad Top Mountain Railroad. In 2008, the Everett Railroad purchased the last remaining H&BTM steam locomotive and began to offer passenger train excursions out of the Hollidaysburg train station.
